Vaudeville Smash

Vaudeville Smash, the enigmatic, energetic and all-embracing Melbourne band that built their reputation on their wild live shows and unbridled sense of fun, was in need of a new visual identity in preparation for their 2012 tour, and new album release “Look at Me”. The requirement was an iconic image, which could be easily adaptable in variety of contexts (live shows, merch, music videos etc…) We created the new logo by using the negative space within the V to create a smash out of the letter S. We are currently in the process of conning someone to get it as a tattoo.

We also designed a gatefold CD cover for a compilation of their older work
